The Barn

Really well appointed..Great Shower and comfy bed. Cape Cornwall within easy walking or driving distance,we did both. Close location to pubs,shops and eateries.We recommend the Dog and Whistle. Large free car park nearby to the property. Beautiful walk from the Cape to Sennen and well connected to the bus route so you are dropped off two mins from the property.

In a great location on the Cape Cornwall Road. We had no difficulties parking. Facilities very good. The private courtyard garden was excellent as was the washing machine and dryer.

Premises not really suited to someone of my height (6'03"). The bed was comfortable but it's very small, my feet stuck out the bottom. Staircase again very tight for someone of my height. I hit my head three times on the door between the bedroom and the courtyard. We couldn't log into the TV in the main room on our own accounts, fortunately we had a laptop with us and were able to log in on that.

Was cold when we arrived and couldn’t get the heater/radiator in the bedroom on to work. Stairs very steep but main thing was that the bed was only a double (not the owners fault but that’s the filter I had put on the search) Bed uncomfortable and especially the pillows which were like lumpy capock. Would have preferred completely cotton bed linen. Also thought breakfast was included because of a previous review that the owner was aware of but hadn’t taken down. Coffee machine advertised but correct coffee capsules were left to use it properly. It was very good of Zoe to call after I had messaged her.

The barn was very cosy and bigger than expected. There was coffee, tea and biscuits available which we thought was a lovely touch. I also loved that the owners had made a folder with useful numbers and information in. We loved the electric fire upstairs also. And the fact that our dogs were welcomed was great!! They enjoyed their stay just as much as we did.

Nothing - if we had to say anything we would’ve liked some more fire logs if possible for the outside fire pit.

Loved the decor, it was spotless, the bed was amazing, great shower. Was nice to use the courtyard and firepit. The self check in and out. Great, friendly staff on though if needed. Would definitely recommend.

Had a bit of trouble getting the living room tv volume controls working properly, but that could very well be just us being idiots haha.
