Farmleigh House,

It was very spacious for our group. It was close to food options and we enjoyed have a kitchen and gathering spaces.

Since our group was so large we thought we were renting the whole,e house and were surprised to find out others were also staying there.

Very clean, great location, comfortable beds and very easy check in process.

I have no negative comments about this property. One very small thing was that there was a power cut on Sunday morning for approx 30minutes but this wasn’t obviously not the fault of the property.

Honestly,nothing.

No communication from the owner as to access. We stood outside in the rain for 10 minutes trying to get someone to unlock the door. Our room was so small we couldn’t put our suitcases in the room so had to bring essentials for our stay into room from car. House has No insulation or sound protection. We were on the first floor and heard conversations and footsteps constantly from guests upstairs. Worse, a guest arrived at 1:30 am and noisily fooled with opening the front door and dragging his suitcase upstairs. Temperature was preset and we were very cold in the morning with no controls available. Recommended their restaurant they own ,the Harbour, in town and I got food poisoning from the salmon.

Accommodation was clean and tidy, with the bonus of a washing machine and dryer, which was great after a couple of weeks traveling. The sister premises the Harbour Restuarant & Bar have exceptional food and service, the best we've had in Ireland so far. Hosts were welcoming and friendly Would have absolutely no hesitation in returning to either.
