The Nook

The Nook, Rosstrever is a little gem! A beautiful, cosy, immaculately kept little slice of heaven! On arrival we were greeted by Hugh, the owner, he was amazing, informing us about all the amenities and nothing was too much bother for him. There was milk, bread, tea, coffee and biscuits left for our stay which was very much appreciated. The accommodation itself is extremely comfortable and everything you need for a relaxing break is there. 20 out of 10 for cleanliness! The location is great, less than a 10 minute walk to the town centre. It was very quiet at night and we slept extremely well. I could not praise the Nook, and Hugh, high enough.. We arrived home and promptly booked our next stay! Highly highly highly recommend! Thank you Hugh!

We loved our stay at The Nook! The location was perfect & Hugh was a fantastic host - so helpful both prior to and during our stay. The cleanliness was 10/10 and the room had everything we needed.

Host was very good throughout our stay, warm and welcoming. There was everything we could possibly need. Studio was so cosy and in a very quiet area with views of the mountain forest. Beautiful setting and a comfortable stay. Would definitely book again.

Home from home, fantastic location. Walking distance to town with shops, pubs and restaurants. Great walks in local forest. Friendly community.

Hugh is a wonderful host and the Nook has everything you need and more, to make your stay comfortable. Modern, super clean, comfortable bed, big fluffy towels, heating on timers, and a very cosy ambiance. Great location to the village and to the beautiful Fairy Glen walk. Our flight was delayed by five hours, meaning our arrival was very late. Hugh very kindly provided croissants, ham and cheese as he figured we would be hungry! He kept in regular contact with us via WhatsApp. Tea,coffee, milk, jams and butter are provided in the fridge. Hugh gave tips on local walks and restaurants. One thing we didn’t realise is that all the restaurants in Rostrevor are closed on Monday nights. We popped into the local grocery store for some supplies and the Ninja Air Fryer at the Nook saved the night! Thank you Hugh for a great stay. We highly recommend the Nook.

Impeccably clean and well sorted. Everything like new. Bed was super comfy. Washer/dryer for your laundry. Private. Off street parking. Hugh - the host - was very helpful and welcoming. Whilst the Nook is a little out of the village, the walk into the village down the hill, past an old graveyard and along the river is picturesque and only perhaps 10-15 minutes. It actually added to our stay.

The accommodation was perfect - comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and a great shower. Our host Hugh was responsive from the moment we booked. Any questions we had were answered immediately and he gave recommendations for restaurants and travel routes. Rostrevor is in a beautiful position to enjoy the lough and the mountains.

Hugh has the place really well set up with everything you could possibly need, very clean and modern apartment in a great location.

Had everything that was needed, clean and new, very helpful hosts, enjoyed our stay very much 😀.
