Mella Hotel Manila near NAIA Airport

The location. It’s close to the airport.

We stayed only for one night and it was a nightmare! The shower drain wasn’t draining g properly. Called the front desk and an engineer guy came. The cause was hair blockage. He left the bathroom with his shoe tracks with dirt on the mat and the bathroom floor. Called the front desk and sent a guy to replace the mat. He used the hand towel to clean the floor. Never replaced the hand towels. No face towels provided. The towel hardware was loose. Mildew on the bottom of the shower door. The place is so outdated.

Great for a one night transit stay but would recommend two rooms for 4 pax.

Room size for a family was very small. Shared two queen beds side by side and no where to put luggage.

The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. The main reception, restaurant and bar was comfortable and clean.

The room wasn’t very clean, floor was dirty and we had small insects in one area of the room. Hot water in the shower was temperamental. We used it as an airport stay over but it was about 30 minutes drive away. We booked it because we thought it was in close proximity. I’ve posted photo of slippers underneath from just 1 night walking in the room. Also dead insects.

Good breakfast, staff was nice

The room was dirty I don’t think they really clean it there was moulds and was dusty. Paid for 14k for an overnight stay. Should have stayed somewhere else.

Great hotel, comfortable, clean, family friendly and good food. Exceptional staff and service.

Nothing. Outer appearance is ok

We stayed in the family room for two nights, paying over AUD $550, and it was a huge letdown. For that price, we expected more than what was offered. The room was far too small, with hardly any space for the family to move around comfortably. There was no table, which made it difficult for us to even sit down to eat or work. It really felt like there was nothing of value included, and we left feeling disappointed with the overall experience. Given the price, we were expecting at least some basic amenities and space to feel comfortable, but unfortunately, this just didn’t meet our expectations. Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for value or a pleasant stay.

The breakfast buffet is good!

That they don’t have a microwave in the room and their key card is used to act up, we stayed for 2nights and I called the front desk twice or 3times because of that issue..

The staff were friendly and attentive. Food at restaurant downstairs were good.

I saw cockroaches on two separate occasions in the bathroom. Killed and took a picture of the second one.
