It is a beautiful property.
Friendly staff and very clean hotel. Weekends are busy but weekdays are quiet and laid back. It is in an excellent location to walk to shopping and restaurants.
Great property except for the shampoo and conditioner don’t fit in holder and kept falling. There was a bar tender working on Sunday white male, who should not be a bar tender and was rude. I would have given five stars on staff had it not been for him.
It was fine, just not a good value. It is priced like a premium property and the rooms are very average, much like you would find at a mid-tier property. Oddly our room didn't have a single picture or art of any kind on the walls, just bare walls. My summary would be that it is fine, location is good if you need to be in Georgetown, but not a good value at this price.

Definitely a great place to stay in Georgetown. In the center of town. Choices of restaurants. Next to visitor center and Marina. The George is not a Ritz Carlton. But it provides all the necessities without going overboard. Facility also offers very good fine dining for dinner as well as lunch. Only negative is that the complimentary morning coffee is way too weak and just about undrinkable. This is too bad for early risers since the coffee shops in town open at 7 or 8. We did have decent coffee (not great) at the coffee shop across the street. It opens at 8 and is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Despite the coffee the Hotel and town are great! I highly recommend both.
The was the loveliest property I’ve ever visited! It was beautiful and comfortable and I can’t wait to visit again!
