USVery clean, staff was very communicative, comfortable beds and linens. Safety measures in place with key card access to enter after hours and they are needed to access the elevator. Excellent location! Close to everything on the waterfront.
Offering room service of some type. Breakfast options in room. For a $380+ a night room I would have appreciated the option to eat breakfast in my room. Parking is a real challenge especially when checking in and out or during busy times. Staff does offer to help with luggage though.

a bit unfortunate that the breakfasts are not served at the hotel, and one needs to walk to town to have one (but the recommendations from the hotel are really good)

We enjoyed our stay at the George Hotel, although it was on a Monday and most of the restaurants are closed on Monday. We enjoyed the outside bar, rocking chairs, and view of the Marina. We felt the restaurant had a very limited menu and was overpriced. No sandwiches. Will probably visit again other than a Monday and spend more time exploring Front Street.
It was situated by the marina, off the water. Beautiful veiws, great friendly staff. Gorgeous restaurant located in the hotel. I just enjoyed my stay there.

We had the best stay at The George! Having visited The Independent before but never staying at the hotel, we decided to book for our first wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect choice. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and we couldn’t get enough of the stunning decor. Our room was so lovely, and the view from the balcony was perfect! The service was impeccable, with every team member making us feel so special and cared for. We also highly recommend dining at The Independent restaurant—amazing food and service! This was truly a weekend we’ll remember forever, and we can’t wait to come back. Thank you, The George, for such a memorable and wonderful stay!
