Really nice apartment. Everything was good.

Place was in a great location. There is a bar on the first floor, however apartment windows are located to a closed inner yard, so you do not hear any sounds from the bar. Place was clean, modern and had everything that we needed.

Eine ungewöhnliche schöne Apartment. Es fehlte an nichts. Sehr ruhig dennoch direkt in der Altstadt. Die Bar im Erdgeschoss „Tim‘s Mint‘s“ ist charmant und entspannt.

Everything was perfect!

So much to say about this apartment and Riga. Riga is an amazing city with so much to see and experience and many directions to go to explore outside the city. And this apartment was the best base for it all. It’s located less than a ten minute walk from the Central train and bus stations and the Central Market (huge diversity of products), five minutes from the opera house and its beautiful setting on the Riga canal (lovely parks in this town). We saw an actual beaver walk into the canal and swim around next to the opera house! There is a Rimi Super grocery store in a nice mall two minutes away. Tram stops just beyond that (the #8 leaves from nearby and takes you across the river to the southern side of Riga and places like the trendy Agenskalns Market). St Peter’s Church and its observation spire (elevator) is two minutes away (great views, a must-do!). The apartment itself was very comfortable and spacious. The bedroom has both translucent curtains and blackout curtains. It has a huge amount of storage!, a nice washing machine and drying rack, coffee galore, nice courtyard views of St John’s Church attached to your apartment building. We could faintly hear the church choir and organ practice occasionally in our three days there, a nice touch. Jana Seta is the courtyard you enter the apartment building from. It’s important in Riga’s early history. Today it’s got a few bars (though it might have back then, too), but you don’t hear them at all from the apartment. If there is anybody staying in the adjoining apartments, you might hear them, but use a white noise app on your phone and that will solve that for the most part. Communication with the host was great and we found the apartment easily (I’ve attached pictures of the two arched entrances you use to access Jana Seta courtyard. Loved this place, thank you!
