Flat was fine... once you could find it. Location was excellent.

Had to play 40 questions with the Host to find out exactly WHERE the correct door was. I'm not telling them how to run their business, but I would make it clear when I sent entry instructions. Where it is? Which bar/restaurant does it share a door with? Or... OMG perhaps just a picture of where to enter? Would make your guests visit so much easier.

Location, cozy apartment, nice authentic building, owners responded quickly to messages

First: there was enough bedding for one person only and we were two. Owners explained that when it’s to people travelling they prepare only one quilt, as we didn’t specify that we weren’t a couple. Couple or not, I don’t know who likes to sleep under ONE SINGEL quilt. Owners couldn’t fix the issue, it made trip more uncomfortable. Maybe should leave some extra linens and towels in the draws, would solved a lot of problems? And eventhat it says in the profile that the apartment has a sofabed but that is very painful to sleep on. Second thing: dirty walls in the shower, there is black and red mold on it. Third: you hear everything in the korridor, couse it’s an old building.

I am very pleased with this booking. The flat was clean and had everything I needed. I stayed with a 3-month-old baby, and it was extremely convenient to have blackout curtains to dim the room for daytime naps. The host was very responsive. I enquired about space for a pram, and she kindly sent a video of the entrance prior to our arrival, which was incredibly helpful. She also replied promptly to all the questions I had. The check-in and check-out process was straightforward, with the key being securely stored in a lockbox. One of the highlights is that although the flat is situated in one of the liveliest parts of Riga, the windows face the back patio, so it’s surprisingly quiet, apart from the occasional sound of neighbours or the church next door. The church music was actually quite lovely to hear.

The only minor downside is that there isn’t much air circulation through the windows, so it can get a bit warm at times, especially on particularly hot days. All in all, I had a wonderful stay!

The apartment couldn't have been in a better location - right in the heart of Old Town and next to one of the oldest churches. Although accessed through a yard with a few bars/restaurants that are great for an evening drink, the apartment is on the other side and very quiet. There's a decent supermarket a few minutes away. The decor and facitilites were both great.

Easier access to WiFi password and maybe a photo of the entrance/doorway would have helped with initial arrival.
