Oak Tree Cottage, Countryside Retreat with River View

Beautiful cottage and location with all the facilities we need for a long weekend.

The property could benefit from finishing some details. Eg, the dishwasher has not been fitted, the curtains need more hooks, and the log burner could be a little bigger for the size of the room.

Incredible peaceful setting - wonderful for family time and recharging. Brilliantly large space inside for cooking/eating, playing games, relaxing. The bedrooms were lovely. Sitting outside was really calm & still - one of our family saw a deer in the garden. Kind & warm host family. Great venue for exploring the area: Puzzlewood, Mallard's Pike (saw a deer!) Krazy golf, Bathurst pool, forest walks.

Loved it it all - a beautiful place to stay. The last 2 steps on the stairs were a different height than the rest which caught us out initially - we got used to them.

Cottage was a good size. Wifi good, bed comfortable

Found the road to the cottage scary. Hard to turn up or down the road . Had to go past the road and turn in a driveway in both directions. Good place to stay if you don't want to go anywhere
