Cheap

Trash in the street, old bed outside in the complex, graffiti, not a nice area. No worse than the rest of Catania, though. Lots of steps inside, kept tripping. Tiny bathroom. A little odd overall.

Good location about 20 min walk to the main squares and 3 from a supermarket and metro. Apartment has nice touches which make it feel like home. Good heating, decent internet (40 Mbps). Appreciated washing machine. Mattress was average.

Definitely a cave with basement suite vibes, little natural light, low ceilings and a bit musty. Was doable for a week.

If you want to live in a house and feel comfortable like you are at your home in Catania, please book this. This is one of the best places to stay in Catania. The owner is simply the best!! Highly recommended.
