Perfect locaton. Clean and big room. Big bed and confortable matres.

The breakfast was awful, no point paying for breakfast as just opposite the hotel there’s a shop with tasty food.

Very limited choice for someone allergic to eggs. I realise the room doesn’t lend itself, but prefer a buffet breakfast.

"Lovely hotel and great staff"

The room, staff and location were all fantastic. We stayed in room 101 for the first night which we were warned wasn't the best room as it is right in the lobby/lift area. The room itself was nice, it was just that it is in a high traffic area, so very noisy in the mornings. I don't think we should have been charged as much as we were for it though. We were moved to the room we booked for the remainder of our stay which was a duplex room and absolutely fantastic. So spacious and clean.

The breakfast was a bit lacklustre. All clearly prepared and plated rather than cooked fresh to order. The cut up fruit had a weird taste and texture both times we tried it because it had clearly been cut a while before and then left in the fridge. Nice to have breakfast included, but we ended up skipping it a couple of days because it wasn't great.

"Bad room, no light and noisy"

Great location

Room was in the ground floor and was super noisy with cleaners in the morning (woke me up every day of my stay) and meant there was no natural light. Quality of room was well below the price as a result. Staff at breakfast made a number of errors and were rude

"Amazing"

The Cumberland exceeded our expectations. It is in a great location, our room was spacious and tidy, and the staff were very friendly, helping us with logistics and offering great recommendations for activities throughout our stay. It was great value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone else looking to visit Valletta!

The pool was under construction during our stay so we weren't able to make use of the top floor facilities.
