The Underwood-Hale House

Property was absolutely gorgeous, from the garden out the front to the living room/lobby, and the room. The beds were comfy, spacious bathroom and ours had a tub in it even. We had a fridge, microwave, toaster, and a seemingly new coffee maker. Oh and mugs and spoons, really fit the new england vibe. We also had our luggage stored.

We had a bit of trouble finding the entrance but not to the hotels fault. They sent out instructions for entering but it didn’t show up in my email, so remember to check the booking app

this house is absolutely beautiful. we arrived after 10pm..instructions were clear and precise...absolute aafety was in mind..lockbox and code...unfortunately we had too leave upon sunrise. but what i saw of porch and grounds absolutely beautiful. cant wait for another visit!

Beautiful property, great location

It’s a beautiful, historic house in the heart of Brown University so a great choice for parents looking to see the university. The parking was a great added bonus. It was easy to check in and out and Richard was very helpful even though we didn’t meet face to face. It was also great to have the additional sofa bed for our daughter to sleep over!

It was nice having a small kitchen facility but a little frustrating without a washing basin in the kitchen. Also, while the house is beautiful, it is old and the owners may want to think about doing some renovations!

Charming decor and ambiance. Good location.

Old and spacious with loads of character

Loved the architecture and surroundings. Felt like staying in an old-school bed and breakfast (without the breakfast obviously). The area is also very nice to walk around in if you appreciate classic northeast city architecture, just older neighborhoods in general.

The dish washer was on the fritz but understand theat things happen.

Very pretty, clean and conveniently located

Had to carry heavy bags up 3 narrow flights. That was a bit of a pain.
