Aru Suites KK

The apartment had a clean, modern interior with minimalist decor that felt calm and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable. Facilities were impressive. Rooftop pool with ocean views and a gym with decent equipment. We walked to Tanjung Aru Beach, which was less than 10 minutes away and enjoyed seafood at nearby beachside stalls. Sembulan Night Market and Sabah State Museum were also close by.

The only minor thing missing was a rice cooker in the kitchen, which would’ve been helpful as we planned to cook a few meals. Otherwise, the stay was perfect.

Stayed here overnight due to a connecting flight. The unit was clean, comfortable and had all the essentials, including a washer, cooking utensils and fridge. It’s also close to the Sabah State Mosque and Perdana Park, where they have evening musical fountains and food stalls.

The TV channels were not properly tuned, but we ended up streaming everything anyway.

The highlight was definitely the unobstructed sunset view over the South China Sea from both the living room and the rooftop. side, the unit was well equipped with basic kitchen tools, dining area and a queen size bed with soft linens. Just 10 minutes away is Imago Mall where we did shopping and had dinner. We also enjoyed local roti canai at Tanjung Aru Food Court.

I loved the tranquility of the area around Aru Suites. It’s a great escape from the busier parts of KK. The apartment itself was well equipped, with a comfy bed, washing machine and fast Wi-Fi. We spent our mornings walking to Tanjung Aru Beach, about 8 minutes on foot, and our evenings enjoying seafood at Ocean Seafood Village. Grab rides to Imago Mall were quick and cheap.

The unit was beautifully decorated, very modern and spotlessly clean. We really enjoyed our morning coffees on the balcony while looking out at the greenery and sea in the distance. Location-wise, it's about 10 minutes by Grab to Jesselton Point if you’re planning island hopping and even closer to Tanjung Aru Beach for food stalls and coconut drinks.

The only minor issue was that the air conditioning in the living room took a while to cool the space down. Once it got going, it was fine

The apartment was spacious and clean, offering a stunning view of the city from the balcony. The rooftop pool was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. The host was incredibly responsive and provided clear instructions for check in. The location was convenient with the beach just a short walk away and local eateries nearby.

One area for improvement would be the parking situation. The limited parking spaces made it challenging for our group to find spots.

Building just a 10 minutes walk to Tanjung Aru Beach and also about 2 km from the Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and the North Borneo Railway station is nearby, great for cultural exploration or heritage sightseeing

The apartment was very clean, well lit and felt spacious. The kitchen was well equipped. Attractions worth visiting are Tanjung Aru Beach is just a short walk away for evening sunsets. Perdana Park is nearby for kids to run around. we also visited the Sabah State Museum & Heritage Village and Sabah Art Gallery, both just a short taxi ride from the property.

Unit was spacious and spotlessly clean. The rooftop infinity pool is a standout feature and enjoyed sunset swims with panoramic vistas. Within a 10 minutes walk to Tanjung Aru Beach and Perdana Park. Close dining options like Tanjung Aru Plaza eased meal planning. A short drive to Imago Mall and Sutera Harbour.
