Kavos Mamas Reas

Caterina was super. She tried to help us any time we need some help. Always with an smile in her face. Apartment was good and bathroom size small as most of the apartments in Greece.

We booked the apartment because of it is anounced that there is a swimming pool nearby that can be enjoyed by the guests. When we arrived to the apartment after 4 hours journey, leave our belongings and go to the pool to refresh ourselves at 35ºC, we were said that kids were not allowed to use the swimming pool due to safety reasons. Even we explainded that our daughters (9 & 13) are well swimmers they put the excuse that the rule is imposed by the local goverment. We called the owner and he said to me that was the first time and he was going to check and call me back... No call back, neither response to my sms, evasion... He only explain to me when I met him and asked about the reason why we could not use the pool. He said to me that the owner of the pool was afraid about the safety of the kids... Different version from the pool staff. In any case, if the pool is only adults they MUST inform in the accommodation description. We hadn't booked this accommodation if we would have knew that pool was not available for kids.

I found many things damaged. The shower was damaged, there was no hot water. The toilet was damaged and they never came to repair it. We couldn't use the toilet. The water started to bubble and wouldn't stop ringing. I had to find a solution myself. I have never had such a bad experience in a hotel or apartment. The keys wouldn't open the door and I had to stay outside the room for an hour. The handle of one room was broken. The remote control did not have batteries. There is no private pool. In front there is a bar but they do not allow minors to use this pool.

I liked how close everything was to mamas reas. How easy it was to access and how good the rooms were

That you needed a key inside the room to work the power

We were a group of 8 girls and had a great stay. Our host met us at the airport and was really friendly. The rooms are like the photos and we thought really good value for money. The pool across the street was great-just buy a drink and the food is nice. There is noise at night but we knew that and we loved being so central. It felt very safe to get home. The host can provide other taxi journeys if needed. We had a great stay, thank you!
