Kavos Mamas Reas

Mama Reas is an amazing place where we felt incredibly welcome and were treated like family. They made everything we requested easy to arrange. Located right in the heart of Kavos, Mama Reas is close to everything. The beach is just a 3-5 minute walk away, and there are plenty of great places to eat, as well as vibrant nightlife nearby. I have no complaints about Mama Reas and highly recommend staying here. Additionally, the travel agency located within Mama Reas makes coordinating tourist trips and arranging transport to the airport and ports to travel outside of Corfu very easy. Mama Reas gets a 100/10 from me they are exceptional.

NOTHING NO PRIVATE POOL NO WIFI NO TV The pool is in another hotel over the road in different hotel. It’s filthy inside and all broken Safe broken lock snapped off. Joists holding up balcony complete detached

The only good thing was the location. Nothing else.

There are number of HUGE issues with this property. Firstly there was no one there to help us check in, we rang the number several times only to be sent straight to voicemail, we knocked on the door of the property to be let in by some very abusive residents who then had the owner ring us and tell us it was our fault for arriving late? Our flight was at 10pm what could we do? Was told we shouldn’t have knocked on the door, perhaps if someone was there to greet us we would have had too…. The internet was non existent, for one of the room we had only been given one pillow for a double bed? The shower water came out brown some days There weren’t any cooking utensils, not even a kettle in our “kitchen”. The fridge & aircon both leaked. Also had a broken chair in the apartment which my friend sat on, fell off and broke his ankle!! Furthermore, a bumbag went missing from our kitchen with £150 in! No doubt from the dodgy cleaners.

The rooms were the nicest I’ve stayed in Kavos.

Kavos is very much a party place for young couple and the property is exactly near the happening place.

Swimming pool isn't in the building as advertised

It's situated in the centre of everything. The room was clean and spacious. There was always hot water for showers and there was a tv in the room. There's hot plates to cook on and a fridge.

The wifi didn't always connect, so couldn't use the tv sometimes. The downside was the pool is over the road. But I would stay here again.

The location was perfect for clubbing and buying tours.

We spent half an hour searching for the location cause of tiny sign. Also we asked around to guide us, but nobody knew about these apartments as “they change their name every year” (that what we were told). Private parking appeared to be a narrow piece of yard, so if you park first you will be blocked by the next car. The owner told us there is another “private” parking around the corner, which appeared to be the municipal, but not private parking in the end. The kitchen is quite poor equipped, it was missing the cutting board, the normal knife, the bowl, the enough number of tea spoons, the pot lids did match the pot and pan, the socket above the countertop wasn’t working at all, so we had to move the table from the balcony and arrange all the electrical kitchen stuff there near another socket to be able to cook at least anything. Also there is no hairdryer or iron. And for sure there is no daily maid service: once in 2 or 3 days maybe. The wifi was disconnecting all the time and the speed was awfully low The rooms have extremly poor ventilation: no hood in the kitchenette, no ventilation in the bathroom except the lattice in the ceiling. The air conditioning only turns on if both of the balcony doors are closed, so if your friends are sleeping, you have to go in their room to close their balcony, to turn on your conditioner. By the way, only the one remoter worked on both conditioners, other one wasnot functioning. And yes, you will not be able to sleep in your room with the opened balcony - even with the closed ones you will hear every word of what the singer sings in the night club opposite the location. The door in the bathroom doesnt close. And the pool - you may think it is the same location as the appartments, but it is not. It is totally another building. And when we tried to go there, we told that we are from the apartments, but the owner of the pool said he knows nothing, and we have to buy a drink to enter the pool.
