Lovely and relaxing place. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast looking out over the lake and great location for safari.

We had a great time at Tissamaharama thanks to Madu who arranged everything (boat safari, wildlife safari). Food was also very delicious and the team at Art Yala did everything to make us feel at home. We loved the design of the beautiful hotel as well. Highly recommend booking the safari through Madu. We had the best safari guide!

We had a really lovely stay here. Madu was very welcoming and helpful. The room was the best one we stayed in for our entire trip - spacious, comfortable and aesthetic. Food was great, with excellent views of the lake. I would definitely recommend!

Cleanest place I have ever seen in my life! The host puts a lot of effort to small details and this can indeed be seen. The cuisine is also fantastic and it is worth a try!

Loved the location on the lake. Well placed for Yala NP Main Entrance and even better for Lunugamvehera NP. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom enormous and updated.

Our stay was unforgettable! We spent two nights of our honeymoon at Art Yala, and everything was perfect. The property is stunning, with beautiful lake views, the food was absolutely delicious, and the staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. We enjoyed every moment of our time there. Madu also organized an amazing safari experience for us. Highly recommend this place, and we can't wait to return soon!

I was looking for a quiet intimate place in Tissa, not far from Yala National Park, and was happy to find Art Yala. The venue is idyllic - right on the lake, with gorgeous sunsets. The facility itself is very private - I had a huge room on the upper floor, very comfortable and immaculate. Meals were prepared Indika, Art Yala's own on-site chef (outstanding!), and the staff did everything to ensure I was comfortable and well taken care of. Madu, the owner. Arranged for a morning safari into Yala, and served as my personal guide. It was a terrific experience! I enthusiastically recommend Art Yala to anyone seeking an intimate hi-quality stay near Yala National Park!
