Casa Vivaldi Guest House

The location is excellent, you can see the arena from the common area window! Loved the common area let's call it the living room. There was complimentary coffee and tea and there were books and loved to just relax on the sofa after a whole day of exploring. the kitchen is big and theoretically you could cook there. There were 2 pillows one soft and one firm on the bed. The bathroom is very spacious and there was always hot water. The neighborhood is definitely upscale.

The room was incredibly small I , a normal size woman, couldn't go from one side of the bed to the other because the " passage " was so narrow I always ended up stumbling on the bed. There was no room to comfortably open two cabin sized suitcases. The apartment had two more bedrooms that were normal size though so it's just that one room .Also our room was never cleaned and the linen never changed though theoretically according to the house booklet that happens on day 3.

The rooms were much larger than we expected and the facilities were very good too. The location was in the centre of Verona old town, within easy walking distance from pretty much all places of interest. The apartment had two balconies with a view along a road to the Roman amphitheatre. We had 2 of the 3 rooms within the apartment, with other guests in the 3rd room. There was very little contact with the other guests and no conflict at all. We didn't have any contact with any of the staff, we were out when they attended the apartment.

The implication that Romeo and Juliet actually lived in certain buildings within Verona. The house with Juliet's balcony was clearly not genuine, with the balcony having been installed in the 20th century.
