Excellent location friendly staff, very warm welcome on arrival breakfast was lovely

Great location and good parking in the middle of Ambleside.

Ian, Helen, Liana and the team were all so helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome from the minute we walked in the door. A cup of tea after a very long drive is just what anybody needs and it hit the spot. the facilities after a long walk were perfect, warm, cosy and with the added Lake District charm. The breakfast, hit the spot to go off for a day hiking. We don't often revisit places because we like to go somewhere different, but I think we will be returning here for sure. perfect location for walks, food and shops.

Very rustic property with characteristic features but all mod cons you could need set in an ideal location.

Our room had a spiral staircase as I had a recent hip injury made it a little more awkward but I managed

Lovely place so convenient 2 minutes and in centre of ambleside the staff were so nice and very helpful the room was spotless and the breakfast was very good.

breakfast had plenty of choice and was well served,location is very good,able to walk to everything in Ambleside ,rooms and facilities were excellent,great pool,sauna and hot-tub,nothing too much trouble for hosts

we liked everything,no complaints at all,will be happy to return
