OMAR KHAYYAM HOUSEBOAT Retreat

Whenever I travel to Srinagar we often do like to stay in Dal Lake. As we found this property new in the booking.com and viewing I thought to go for it. While arriving at the Property our co host Mr Fayaz greeted us and offered a Fresh Juice in this hot weather. And afterwards we checked in our booked room which was impressive and astonishingly decorated. Linen sheets on the bed were clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. This resort is located in the heart of Dal Lake called Golden Lake. Sunset was so mesmerising and even the sunrise too. Ordered In House Food was tasty and good in quantity. I would be definitely staying again in this property with my family in my upcoming family trips.

It's a nice place to stay. Host is really helpful. He could arrange anything for you whether it's a Shikara or a taxi for local sightseeing. Definitely go for this place.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Favela Headrooms and Group of Houseboats on Dal Lake. The setting is incredibly serene and offers breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. The staff were incredibly hospitable, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. They provided delicious home-cooked meals, which allowed us to experience authentic Kashmiri cuisine. The boat's location also made it easy to explore the local markets and attractions. I highly recommend staying on this houseboat for anyone looking to enjoy a unique and peaceful experience on Dal Lake. It's a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
