"Really a highlight of our trip"

Beautiful setting, really nicely designed cabins, great chicken and chips dinner from our hosts. If we hadn't been worn out from our 4.5 hour trek on the Queen Charlotte track, we could have made use of the kayaks too.

"A peaceful paradise"

Tawa Cove was paradise. Don and Prue has created a wonderful escape and if you’re looking for somewhere to soak up the beauty of the Marlborough Sound this is the perfect place. After traveling thru NZ for a month, we felt rested and rejuvenated after our stay. Dinner was delicious and the kayaking was amazing!

On site owners were very welcoming and helpful. Hot Tub down by the water was wonderful. Beds comfortable. Everything so clean. Breakfast included was nice. Lovely place to stay. I would have liked to stay more than 1 night

Great stay for day 1 on the queen Charlotte track. Loved staying here. Not too much of a hike down - 5 min down and 10min up in the morning. Everything needed was provided and even snacks in the room for purchase. Hosts were lovely and so were the dogs! Loved staying here and will be back in the summer with hopefully some sun! We will water taxi this time.

"Superb"

Our room was very clean and tidy and the beds were very comfortable. We appreciated the free breakfast and the dinner we ordered was delicious and great value for money. The owner was also kind enough to take us out on his boat so we could see some dolphins up close.
