Fabulous views, great goom, nice staff, good wi-fi. The lemurs afternoon visits.

Der perfekte Abschluss nach einer anstrengenden Madagaskar-Reise. Wir hatten die beste Zeit mit Zina und Dominic. Jederzeit ein Ansprechpartner, falls es nötig war, immer mit bester Laune, Humor und Interesse. Und ansonsten absolute Ruhe, Erholung, Schönheit wohin man vom riesigen Balkon aus blickt. Wer hierher kommt sollte Lemuren mögen (ja, man kann sie ab und zu auch nachts gut hören), aber warum kommt man sonst nach Nosy Komba?? Sie kommen nur nahe, wenn sie Bananen oder Papaya sehen :). Und wer hierher kommt sollte es genießen, auch mal nasse Füße zu bekommen, für die Anreise und falls die Flut mal sehr hoch ist und man trotzdem im Dorf Abendessen möchte. Dominic kennt natürlich die besten Adressen. Er hat auch für jeden Tag Ideen, was man unternehmen könnte (wenn man möchte). Anschließend noch wichtig zu erwähnen sind auch die Bananen Pfannkuchen von Zina zum Frühstück. Alles in allem sind wir uns sicher: Dies ist einer der wenigen Orte, die wir unter Garantie nochmal besuchen werden!! Vielen Dank!

I would whole heartedly recommend Villa King Komba. Not only are the facilities great, but you can sit on your balcony or float in the pool and see whole families of Lemurs meters away jumping from tree to tree. But what really makes King Komba special are the people, to name drop a few: Steven and Vivian - Some of the most warm and welcoming hosts you could dream of, they took great care to advise us of everything we could need to know. They also really saved us when we were in sudden need of accommodation later in our trip. Dominic - The best fixer in Madagascar, he knows the best people for tours, boat rides and almost anything you could need in Madagascar. His help saved us a huge amount of money and ensured we got the best experience where ever we went. His grasp of English is great, amongst other languages I’m sure! Roberto - Keeps the gardens in great condition and will happily take you to delicious local places for dinner and may even arrange for you to play pétanque with the locals in the village! Zena - Makes sure that your room and all other spaces in the villa are perfectly clean. As well as serving up some great breakfasts/ food in general! She is, like all of the staff, brilliantly funny, even if the jokes are delivered via google translate.

I loved everything about Villa King Komba on this paradise-like island: The spacious, airy, elevated house with its wonderful attention to details, the large, comfortable and well-furnished room, clean crisp sheets on a great bed, and a breathtaking view of forest, sea and islands beyond. Being nestled within the wilderness, lemurs leaping at close proximity... and in minutes swimming in the warm, gentle sea. A traditional village the distance of a short walk and a reminder of how rich and good life simply is. Everybody working at Villa Komba had offered an exceptional service. The assistance, care and dedication and the level of support was generous, touching and truly special. It was a little daunting to head into this foreign terrain on my own, but the guidance and reliability turned everything into an amazing adventure. Thank you all!

It is a beautiful hostel-like villa on the forest's doorstep, a quiet and peaceful sanctuary. It was just what we needed. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. We watched families of lemurs jumping through the trees right outside the bathroom and bedroom windows at dusk and dawn, a one-of-a-kind experience. Fresh, warm baguettes are provided for breakfast every morning, the best baguettes I've had! The premise was beautiful and very clean, and we loved enjoying breakfast and relaxing on the couches on the huge balconies looking out at the incredible view of the ocean. A perfect place to stay for couples, singles and also large groups. The bookings are deliberately kept to a minimum so all guests can enjoy the villa's peaceful charm.

No hot water on the premises, although the staff will boil water and bring it to your room for your shower. The bed creaked and wasn't the most comfortable. But I wouldn't trade our time at the Villa for these things, it was a little paradise.

I can't even describe the feelings and memories that I have now after the stay in Villa King Kombo and on Nosy Kombo itself. The villa is just as you imagine a villa somewhere on an exotic island. Absolutely clean, cozy Malagasy design. Huge and comfortable rooms and I just absolutely loved the concept that during the day you can open all of the windows and feel like you are outside. But at night you can close everything completely. The view from the lounge zone is just to die for. The Villa is a 10 minute walk from the village where you'll find all the restaurants. The coral reef is just in front of the villa and you can easily swim there in the morning when the tide is low. But the most important thing apart from all of that is Dominic who is in charge of everything in the villa and Steven - the owner. They made me feel like an absolute special guest. Not in every 5 star hotel you get the same care of the customer. Steven and Dominic arranged for me a trip to Nosy Tenikely and Nosy Fali. Both of those trips were absolutely amazing. Dominic was there to organize and help me with literally everything I was planning to do. Even before I'd decided anything Dominic already had an answer and the best suggestions. And Steven was on line with me 24/7. Being the best owner of a hotel I met in my entire life. And Dominic being the best manager! I'm 1000% coming back to Villa King Kombo. The thing that happened to me the next morning I flew to Tana is when I woke up I thought "God. Why not on Villa King Kombo". And even now I'm writing this review from Delhi, India it feels like I'm literally there right now. Absolutely magical experience and magical place. Thank you Steven and Dominic for everything! There is only one thing. You have to get used to screaming lemurs in the evening. Because there is a huge lemur family that comes to the tree next to the Villa. But once you get used to it - you'll miss that sound.

Excellent experience at villa king Komba. Stephen and Dominique were the most attentive and pleasant hosts I could have ever hoped for. Very knowledge and interesting guys. The location was perfect steps away from quiet Beach and coral reefs but close to village with everything needed. Personalised trips and collections available, unbelievable house with lemurs visible from our bedroom and better kitchen than my own home! Lovely outdoor balcony and pool area, great wifi. Cleaned everyday with very friendly staff. Will definitely be back and keep in touch, feels like home!
