Hotel Devine Zirakpur Chandigarh

The hotel stay was comfortable and pleasant. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was convenient, and overall, the property is quite well-managed.

Everything else was fine, but the staff seemed very money-minded and tried to overcharge by inflating the bill unnecessarily. When I asked for a detailed expenses break-up, the receptionist handed me a wrong bill under someone else's name — possibly to cover up discrepancies. On insisting for a proper itemized count, he recalculated verbally, and the correct amount came to around ₹1654, whereas earlier he had asked for ₹2043. This kind of dishonest behavior is unacceptable and leaves a bad impression.

All good. TV was broken they changed it. Shower was broken they fixed it.

I had book a room with window. Got a room with walls.

Not much to like about this place. It was reasonably clean.

Where to start? Lots of false advertising. Not very near to the airport, almost half an hour away. No high speed internet as advertised. Electricity would cut out regularly. Charged more than the booking price. Included bfast consisted of a few pieces of slightly buttered toast, no utensils, no jam instead they gave tomato sauce, and two small cups of Indian tea. No 10% discount on food ordered instead they overcharged. No complimentary water or tea in the room. We had to request an extra towel and toilet paper. I would definitely not recommend this place even for a night.

Food quality was extremely bad. Quality of menu served was extremely poor. They need to either change the cook or train him properly. A chilli chicken dish that was served had stale , super fried chicken with super heavy coating of cornflour and was TASTELESS. Yes, they did give a nominal discount of INR 100, but that is not what we desired. Secondly, we were informed that the hotel is just around 3 kms from airport. However, the prepaid taxi route was about 16 kms and taxi fare charged was 800 INR instead of standard 400 INR. We were told by the taxi driver that the old route thru cantonment area has since been closed to traffic, ut we were not informed properly.
