Nothing much to do with the hostel itself - but other guests are super noisy here. Playing guitar at 6am and such. Hostel should enforce civic sense perhaps... Bigger and more visible street sign would help guests upon arrivsl.

Other guests was really nice

It was so so so dirty. They let me slept in sheets of the preview guest…

The best property in the Darjeeling for people searching for a best budget friendly hostel with the best cook and the best host and with a best guide and tour provider.. Over all the stay was excellent and food was great with panoramic view 👍🏼

The staff there i mean manager and care takers are too good and also the lady who cooks food is very good and taste is very good🤗.

I like the view from the location however it's quite a long walk taxies don't come up too if they do they charge 500 for tourist for 2 kms

Didn't inform me that food order time is 6pm so missed to eat food, had to order, the sitting area is close to washroom so often it stinks 😩

Pathfinder’s Nest in Darjeeling gave me one of the most memorable experiences of my life. I had planned to stay for just one day, but the place, people, and vibes made me extend my trip to 8–10 days! The hostel features a beautiful retro and ancient theme, complete with a British-era fireplace that creates a magical atmosphere, especially at night, accompanied by live music from Abhishek Bhaiya and others. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and well-maintained, thanks to Sabita Di, who also cooked delicious homely food and treated me like family. Vishnu Bhai managed everything smoothly and guided me to explore the local culture and hidden gems of Darjeeling. Kumar Bhaiya was a true all-rounder—driver, guide, singer, and human Google Maps! Being on my first solo trip, I never felt alone. I met people from all over India, and the hostel felt like home. Truly a warm, soulful, and unforgettable stay!
