Goldie's Retreat

Very clean, modern and well-appointed. Very quiet at night. Not far from the M6 for our overnight stay from Scotland to Devon. Good that it is dog-friendly. Local shops within a 15 minute walk.

Nothing....but would appreciate a couple of hooks for wet coats...and towels? And maybe a bedside light for reading?

The property is new and looked fresh. It is modern, clean and comfortable. The TV has lots of channels, including NETFLIX, which we enjoyed.

There were no written instructions about converting the settee to a bed, for example the legs are zipped into the back of the settee. We were concerned about forcing or breaking it. The bathroom ideally needs a shelf/somewhere for washing bag.

A fabulous impeccably clean quiet property with all you could need for a great stay. We would definitely use again!!

The location was fine but we didn't find it the easiest place to find as you go through an industrial estate to get there.

Lovely little apartment, very modern and clean. Everything you need for a family stay is present, toaster, kettle, cooking facilities. Netflix was logged in on the TV which my teenagers loved and everyone was happy. I met the host the next day and she was very helpful. It had modern double glazed windows and doors and we felt relaxed and safe. 40 minute, pleasant drive to Blackpool and Southport

Ideal retreat for a break on our long journey. In a peaceful location making for a relaxing break. Just what we needed. Large screen tv with access to apps. Helpful friendly owners. Parking right outside property. Property was clean tidy and well equipped. Dog friendly Thankyou.

Daughter said the sofa bed was a bit hard

We stayed here on the way down to Devon as a stopping point and liked it so much we booked for the return journey the next week. Lovely pond and woods to walk around in evenings. I left my trainers in the garden by mistake and the host offered to post them to me 😊
