GBIt’s even nicer in person than in the pictures. Located in Windermere centre, car parking is only a 2 minute walk. I would highly recommend this property.

The staircase at the top as you turn left or right was a bit of a nuisance for my Mum. Could do with a rail on either side as you turn the corner she found that difficult to manage either my sister or myself had to accompany her every time she either went up or came down for her own safety, Apart from that everything else was terrific.
GBThe house was a good size for what we needed and had been decorated and styled nicely.
The living room stank of wet dog which obviously had tried to be covered by a plug in perfume but it just added to the smell instead of covering it up. We shut the door on the living room in the first day and didn’t go back in for the rest of the stay. The bed in the main bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable and small. It wasn’t a regular double bed. We got bruises on the backs of our legs from getting out of bed as the bed frame was too high for the depth of the mattress. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable and the bedding slid off the waterproof mattress protector everytime you moved. The social housing over the road kept us awake most nights shouting and swearing and the dog barked the whole time. The saniflow system in the en-suite was loud and woke up our daughter on a number of occasions. Because all of this we contemplated driving back home a day early as we were exhausted with little to no sleep. The only thing that kept us there was our 5 year old daughter that desperately wanted to stay.
GBGreat location, close to all shops, bars and restaurants. Felt homely and kitchen had everything you needed.
Front of the house (main bedroom) noisy outside with shouting and music at night kept us awake. Bed was tiny in main bedroom so ended up with one of us on the sofa downstairs.
IMCottage was perfect. Clean, very well equipped & in a great location.
