The location is great, near the bridge in Lewes. Parking is easy in Friars Walk: it's a 2 hr max (Ringo app), but free from 5pm to 9am. The flat is clean and comfy, and our son was fine on the sofa bed. Great brunch spot opposite, Fuego Lounge (only opens at 9am, but Bill's opens at 8am just over the bridge).

Superb location in centre of Lewes with great views over to the South Downs and the Golf Club and down onto the street activity below us. A great "people-watch". Despite central location there was virtually no overnight noise from the street below. Host answered my email promptly after he'd forgotten to send me the entry information on the preceding day. Kitchen was well-provided with utensils, cork screw etc. Would recommend this property to others and we hope to return.

Lounge heating struggled a bit because of the size of the room and the lowest temperatures of the winter so far! Bedroom temperature was much better. Bath sealant is a bit tired and so it was a bit difficult to clean. On the 3rd floor so a bit of a trek up the stairs with a suitcase but then being high up gave us the superb views so worth the effort. Parking was available across the road behind the Premier Inn and I think it was free overnight and then 90p per hour through the day. However, if coming by train then the railway station is only about 5 mins walk.

"Perfect for our needs on a short stay in Lewes"

The apartment was 5 minutes walk from the railway station right in the centre of Lewes. A bus stop and supermarket were about 400 m away. There was an excellent restaurant just across the road. The location would be hard to beat.

Initially, the TV didn't tune into any stations but we fathomed out what was wrong and then it was fine. Some minor remedial work is required on a bathroom wall near the shower end of the bath.
