The Bank

Very central in the heart of Lewes and close to the train station, about 5-10mins walk away. Also, exceptionally clean. Comfortable flat with everything you'd need - dishwasher, fridge freezer, oven, big tv and comfy sofa. We stayed in Lewes as going to Glyndebourne festival and got the coach from the station. It's on the top floor of a small apartment block with restaurants, lovely shops and pubs nearby so very handy. Even packs of biscuits to make us feel welcome.

Can get warm in hot weather as top floor and heat rises, so keep windows open, even through the night. Just one of those things, thought to mention but don't let that put you off.

The lack of parking

Had everything we needed other than parking. Owners were very accommodating with an early check in.

Could do with a bit of a refresh - but very minor

Exceptional accomodation looked after by a delightful host. 5 stars all round! Thoroughly recommend. Thanks for accommodating us at the very last minute. Would love to return one day.

The flat is fantastic, very spacious, centrally located and I wish we could have stayed longer . Fabulous hosts who were very responsive.

Everything was great. Only one small comment around towels - if four people are staying then four bath towels should be provided or it should be stated up front that two bath and two hand towels are part of the package.

Superb location. The bright and comfortable flat has amazing views over Lewes. Tea, cofee etc. was provided and the hosts left a lovely welcome pack

Old fashioned, needed update

The Bank was in a great location and the accommodation was clean, spacious and private. Our hosts communication was excellent and everything went smoothly. Highly recommended
