The location was great. Close to town and all amenities, bus stops, car parks.

The entrance mechanism on the main door a bit tricky to use on arrival. The toilet needs replacing, cracked basin and some movement of toilet seat when using. The bath panel was loose and needs updating. We couldn't find any place mats to use.

Minor point... The neighbour objected to the noise of the bathroom fan running, amiable exchange but perhaps should be aware of its potential to irritate...

"Lovely little apartment right in the heart of Lewes."

We loved the light and airy main living space with interesting views. The bedroom had a very comfortable double bed. We had everything we needed and were especially grateful for the fan because it was very hot when we stayed. Nigel was also very quick to help us when we had a problem with the key to the building, and even carried our luggage upstairs for us. Thank you again Nigel!

The sofa bed mattress is rather thin. Perhaps a mattress topper would help with this?

"It was an attractive, clean and comfortable base for a Christmas stay."

The location is great, central and near useful shops. The flat was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and has lovely views. There is a good bus service to Brighton just around the corner. Lewes is a pleasant historic town to wander round.

It could do with a few more kitchen dishes, e.g. a couple of larger bowls, a baking tray and kitchen scissors. A small bottle of milk would have been appreciated as a start off. I found the oven challenging to begin with even with the instructions.

"Large, comfortable flat in the centre of Lewes"

Very central position in Lewes. Comfortable and very well equipped. Great views from top floor flat. Good choice of restaurants and pubs nearby. Very close to Lewes Station.

Good location and comfortable. Well equipped and cosy.

The bathroom needs attention. The toilet bowl is severely cracked and the bathroom needs a good clean. The electric heater problem was quickly sorted out by Nigel.

"Teriffic location right in the middle of town, lovely flat with great views and very comfortable."

The location is fabulous - right in the centre of Lewes, close to all the attractions and above a very nice bakery/cafe

We arrived mid-Saturday afternoon and had some problems parking - but after that it was all fine. Not the fault of the hosts K know!
