The Bank

This is a great find in central Lewes - it would be impossible to be in a more convenient location for shops, restaurants, the river and the train station! We were a couple and one extra adult, and the flat was well set out for this type of group. Very happy.

The flat is noisy because of being so central - people wandering around late at night and some traffic. I bought some ear plugs after the first night and it was fine. The flat is on the second floor without a lift which might be a problem for some.

Great location good size well equipped

A bit difficult to find, it would help if the instructions described the location of number 43 under the arch of number 40.

Central location and comfortable flat - had everything we needed for a two night stay. We had a slight problem with the outside door lock but the owners very quickly sorted it out after we rang them - it was perfect for our needs and the owners were very accommodating- thank you

It was a bit stuffy with the window closed and a bit noisy first thing in the morning with it open but it is so central it is to be expected ! Also just be aware it’s on the second floor - not a problem for us though

We liked the central location, the views and the proximity of bars, restaurants etc. It was clean modern and spacious- ideal for our needs- as a base to explore Lewes and the surrounding areas.

This isn’t to do with the property, but when we arrived, the car park across the road didn’t take cash or card, so a frustrating twenty minutes ensued as we tried to download the NCP app. Hence it may be worth doing in advance.

The location, decor and facilities are excellent. The flat is really central and close to shops, restaurants, the castle and the station. The owners were really helpful and responded very promptly to any questions we had.

Fantastic location for visiting Glyndebourne and for exploring Lewes. Couldn't have been better. comfortable bed. Wonderful shower. Lovely little flat with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back. Thank you!
