Clean and comfortable room Nice people leaving in the apartment It is 25 min away from Rome by train

During the first days the room was quite cold for my mother, then the temperature got adjusted and it was fine.

We dont have worries about everything that we need in the kitchen. We love the living room and kitchen.

The terrace outside was incredible and there was plenty of space inside to be comfortable. Was slightly worried about shared living room/kitchen but not a problem at all!

My worst booking experience ever.... The room was in a private apartment and at first everything was okay with the host. When we asked about the second bedroom in the apartment, he told us that there might be other people coming with whom we have to share the facilities. The way he said it, it sounded more unlikely for other people to come. However, later during the afternoon we saw cameras installed in the living room and the balcony. I don't know if there are even more of them but neither was it written in the apartment description, nor did he tell us about them. That's already a no go for me... but it even got worse. It got late in the evening and we tried to get comfortable in the apartment that we paid for. As he didn't inform us anymore about other guests arriving, we left some personal items (some food, shoes and jackets -there was nothing to hang them in our room) in the living room and also some of the remains of the evening (empty bottles, pizza cartons on the kitchen table - didnt know where to throw them btw.) and went to bed. In the middle of the night I got woken up because of a lot of noise and people talking in the living room. I got very scared because I didn't know what was happening at that moment. I even heard how they were taking photos. The next morning he complained via chat about us and how we left our things in the living room. I got really angry and it messed up my day because he could have just sent us a message, telling us that there will be other guests arriving around that time. He then said there are new guests coming in the afternoon again and we should be more tidy. But no one came. As if all of this wouldn't already be enough, he texted me on WhatsApp, saying that we have to pay city tax which he says is 5€ per person per night. As he is not able to see us anymore before we leave, we should just leave it in the room.

Nice and clean room, pretty close to the CIA airport in Rome. Ideal starter for your road trip in Italy. The owner helped us with tips for our visit the Vatican City, so we left the car behind and took public transportation. Best idea, as it saves you from lots of hassle. The 24 hours day pass is the easiest way to visit all you want in Rome.
