Loughview Retreat in the Mournes

The view, the peace & quiet, the lovely host. It was absolutely pouring with rain and the wind was blowing a gail so I didn’t get to talk to Maureen too much but from our brief interaction she was lovely and helpful, & I know if I needed anything at all it wouldn’t have been too much trouble. I wanted a night away to relax and reset & that’s exactly what I got. Comfortable bed, lovely fresh smelling towels, everything was clean & cosy. I popped into town to get some food and some bits for breakfast & it had everything I needed for my short stay. I also booked and arrived within the hour, so it was very last minute but that was no problem.

Nothing I disliked. It was exactly what it said it was on the tin.

It was very clean Very good host Close to Newcastle and beautiful mountains. Castlewellan Park very close also beautiful Silent valley a must see beautiful walk to dam

Appartamento molto accogliente e pulito, con grande terrazza e vista splendida in un luogo bellissimo e tranquillo, proprietari gentilissimi.

The property was fantastic, great location and everything we needed.

Could do with a deeper clean in parts but overall it was a great place!

It would have been great to have a cooker so we wouldn't have to go to town, every day to eat
