Not having electric all the time

Very tasteful decorated

The lodge needs a coat rail or hooks as has nowhere to hang coats etc and would benefit from a full length mirror. I would also suggest an information booklet for facilities on offer at the lodge eg WiFi etc. lights around the hot tub like solar fairy lights would be an amazing addition!

lovely location peaceful and quiet , hot tub the centre of attraction and enjoyed relaxing in the tub with friends , spacious cabin with home from home comforts and clean and tidy on arrival , though discovered damage to bedroom door and wall to master bedroom and bathroom door not having a working lock which we took photos of on arrival which put a damper on things with four people sharing a bathroom without a lock bit awkward for privacy but nether the less we still enjoyed our stay also shelf in fridge broken and loose so couldn't put anything in to compartment

the fact booking. com advertised the property on site which is supposed to have a supermarket shop on site and a restaurant and bar ... on arrival at five in afternoon found no shop... after walking up to next site through woods over bridge we found the crazy horse saloon which is a bar that sells food which first night Saturday night was rowdy and wasn't much choice of food but we were hungry and hadn't much choice really .... so no shop no restaurant just a bar selling food and if we hadn't taken a box of tea bags and bottle of milk we wouldn't of had anything ..... if we'd known there wasn't a shop on site then we would of made provisions and taking up our own groceries and drinks ... disappointed as this was not mentioned in advert...additionally on Monday morning instructions are to vacate by 10am we were up at 8.30am and went to bathroom to shower and shave to find water was trickling out of shower and we were unable to wash ... having looked out window discovered two blokes cleaning the hot tub ready for next guests and had a hose pipe connected to the cabin using the hot water to refill the tub the boiler was working overtime to keep water hot and hence the water that we should of been able to shower with was being diverted away to the hot tub very disappointed !! they know your leaving at 10am and cleaners shouldn't be arriving till you've left...

Location was beautiful

Unclean, covered in dog hair, bad smell

The decor was needing some attention holes in doors and walls outside the hot tub area very poor needing more screens and plants dead in pots patio furniture seat pad mouldy and poor not up to the standard I would like for the money

Spacious double room, good storage..

Hole in the door (bedroom) and wall,.. No fire, but there is one in the photo,..hardly any kitchen cupboard space, had to take cups out, to make room for dry food.. No space for their microwave,. Could have done with some hooks to hang wet towels, no lock on the bathroom door,.. Think we could have used the hot tub, if it had a canopy, as rained most of weekend. Maybe a welcome pack would have been beneficial,..

Beautiful location and lodge very clean and well presented. Hot tub is lovely bonus!

Beds In need of new mattress singles are more like camp beds and double very uncomfortable

Hot tub was great and lovely view. Location of site very handy for exploring Northumberland. Comfortable bed and lounge area. Thank you for a great stay

Lovely decor but few paint areas need touching up. A info pack saying where nearest facilities including bins and how towels/sheets should be left on departure would have been handy. Curtains in the main bedroom very thin and a street light directly outside.
