"Poor customer service and so unfriendly"

Really poor customer service & extremely unwelcoming Unfriendly staff Inflexible approach Room not cleaned I’m a platinum lifetime and titanium elite & meant to feel like I’m not even a marriott member I’ve travelled the world staying in Marriott’s averaging 90 nights per annum & this is the worst I’ve ever stayed in and will not stay here again

"Will Stay Here Again For Sure"

This hotel was fabulous. I am so glad I stayed here and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be near the strip, but doesn't want to deal with casinos and smoking. I was super close to the Miracle Mile mall so I pretty much walked through there every day to get to where I was trying to go so I could avoid the heat. The customer service was A1! EJ greeted me at check in, Le Ann (I think?) was prompt with housekeeping, Andy with guest services was patient and helpful, and the countless others who took time to answer a question or make a recommendation. I also enjoyed the daily complimentary food, drinks, activities in the lobby. Nice touch. They have security near the elevators checking key cards so I never felt unsafe here as a solo traveler. My 1 bd rm villa was spotlessly clean and had every accommodation that I would need. The only thing that I didn't really like was that they charge you for extra wash cloths. That is a bizarre policy, not sure what it's about but it didn't end up being an issue. And as of my stay, they are not offering daily housekeeping. Not a problem for me. The washer and dryer in the villa was convenient (they provide complimentary washing powder) and I would have liked to try the huge tub, but I didn't have proper cleaning supplies. The coffee in the room left much to be desired but the cafe down in the lobby serves Starbucks. There are 2 pools, one on the 5th floor and one on the rooftop. Believe it or not, I spent most of my time in the whirlpool! There are bars at each pool. Uber/rideshare was easy to pick up from the hotel and again, I was close to everything. I would come back here in a heartbeat. I was pleased with this stay. The only thing is, I wish I could have gotten my departure gift :-). Next time. Oh yeah, no resort fees and no smoking!!! Love it!

"Hotel seems a bit rundown, staff are welcoming"

Didn’t mind the location off the strip. Valet was interesting, couldn’t call ahead for your car but you self scan your ticket and your number shows up on a waitlist on the screen above. Lyft/uber pickup is around the corner before entering valet. The blackout curtains worked well. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans/baking sheet/utensils/etc. The staff we encountered were all friendly. Dissapointments: Got a 3 bedroom which was a hotel door that led to a one bedroom and two bedroom (need to use your key twice to get in as AC didn’t seem to work as well if we left the doors open to “connect” the bedrooms). The room we had was very outdated and worn from the pillows and furniture to the bathtub/shower. The carpet was very dirty and there was hair in more than one spot on the bathroom floor. We had to call for a refill of body wash and conditioner as that was out and asked to have the drain unclogged as it drained very slowly leaving you to shower in a foot bath. toiletry refill was brought right away but we were gone all day and no one came ever to fix the drain (3night stay called on second day) so we just dealt with it. Light in fridge was out and dishwasher had half an old dried pod in it still (at least no dishes). The washer also had mildew in the rubber and a funny smell. I do want to reiterate how friendly the staff we encountered were from check in to bell services to people in the hallways.

"Not so Grand at Grand Chateau"

Although a beautiful place to stay there are many downfalls. The fact that you must use a valet to retrieve/park your car is a complete inconvenience. The downstairs cafe is ridiculously priced. The location is a block off the street but I would have preferred something central on the strip. We weren’t close to much. Upon check-in we were informed there would be no housekeeping for the week we were to be there. There would be a charge for delivery of items but we could get them free if we saw a cart in the hallway. Staff was all kind and room was clean. I don’t know that I would return especially since we paid a lot of money to stay here.

"Beware of the Time-Shares. "

Not many food or bev options, but nice and quiet. Was woken by phone at 9am to be reminded to go talk to the Time-Share folks in the lobby... after a late nite in VEGAS... so this is a big focus for them and they will try to sell you into the program... if you listen to the spiel... be sure to know how much the Yearly Dues and Maint fees will be 0.O
