"Disappointed and Disturbed by Marriott’s Treatment of Disabled Guests"

2.0

If you’re traveling with a service animal or have a disability, I strongly advise you to reconsider staying at Marriott’s Grand Chateau. During our check-in, my husband—who has a disability and a trained service animal—was told he needed to carry a “Service Animal Pass” and present it to security each time we entered the building. This was not presented as optional. It was enforced as a requirement to move freely through the hotel. This practice directly violates the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which prohibits businesses from requiring identification or documentation for service animals. It made us feel tracked, flagged, and singled out—not welcomed. When we escalated this issue to Marriott corporate, we received conflicting explanations. One manager claimed the pass was mandatory; another said it was optional and just “meant to improve the guest experience.” The inconsistency and refusal to take responsibility led us to file a formal ADA complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice. While we were eventually offered a goodwill gesture of points, the hotel has still not acknowledged the harm or taken steps to change the policy. Travelers with disabilities deserve better than vague policies and contradictory enforcement. We expected more from a brand like Marriott—and were deeply disappointed.

"Not for business trip"

2.0

One of the worst experiences I’ve had in a long time. It was a business trip as usual, but they refused the payment and showed a complete lack of professionalism. The staff was rude, especially the manager, who was extremely unhelpful and disrespectful. Their attitude made the stay very unpleasant, and the whole experience was frustrating. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BUSINESS TRAVEL.

"Convenient, Clean, and Comfortable"

10.0

This hotel was very clean and very comfortable. It doesnt have all of the fanfare of a VEGAS hotel - its very much a place to stay but somewhere you wont want to spend all of your time in. The walk to the strip is short, and convenient. We also used the valet and they have a great system for asking for your car. Overall, for the price and location - we were very happy and would gladly stay here if being in a casino hotel wasnt a priority.

"Modern, clean and massive vacation villas with great located central to Vegas strip"

10.0

Having a wonderful stay in these large vacation villas. A one bedroom suite has a dining room as well as a full kitchen and a living room and a massive in-room hot tub/sauna as well as a separate bathroom and shower area. First and foremost, the location of the property is everything. It is centrally located in the middle of the strip and walking distance to everything. The closest casinos are MGM grand and Planet Hollywood and then the Aria is across the street. They have a minimart on property however a CVS, Walgreens, Subway, McDonald’s, Hot And Juicy and many other stores and restaurants are less than a five minute walk away. Secondly the hotel is modern and has a very clean look. The upkeep and maintenance are top notch. And most importantly, the rooms are super spacious and have washers, dryers, kitchen appliances, and everything else you could possibly need for a very homey stay. The service has been really good and every time I make a request, it is delivered quite rapidly. They have multiple pools and restaurants and hot tubs on site. I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay here and I will definitely return.

"Our first stay at an MVC that's not on a beach"

10.0

Nice MVC property that's close to the strip and near elevated walkways to cross busy streets and not wait for lights. We walked from the Cosmo (near hotel) to the Wynn and never had to cross a street at a traffic light (ok, maybe a small side street that had no traffic and we just walked across). Plus it's easy to get Uber or get dropped off right in front of resort. Some other places you have to walk a long way to the "Uber area". We are owners at Myrtle Beach so we know what to expect for villas (rooms), with kitchen dining table, and in-villa laundry. Note: the "lock-off" rooms might not have in-room laundry so check if needed. We have always been happy with the MVC properties, and this is no different. Burger and quesadilla at the pool were every good. Pizza at lobby restaurant was decent. All staff was friendly. And I'd say this is a "quieter" resort compared with others. You probably won't find the group of loud drunk people staggering to use the elevator at 8:00 am after a night of drinking, like many other resort/casinos on the strip. This property seems to have a lot of families and 45+ couples. But you're only a 10 min walk from much less "quiet" places on the strip if you want that.

"Perfect Location/1 BR Accomodation with No Casino or Smoke"

10.0

We are so glad we selected this resort 1/2 block off the strip on E Harmon. The location is very much mid strip and across Harmon from Miracle Mile Shops and Planet Hollywood. We had a 1 BR condo with kitchen, living room, dining area and it was great to spread out instead of being cramped into a hotel room. The rates were reasonable and there is no daily resort fee and no casino to have to navigate. I prefer the quieter location just off the main strip which is busy and bustling 24/7. Best of all It is completely nonsmoking. There are 2 pools which we didn't use because it was too cold. I've seen reviews saying the units are dated but we disagreed and found them in very good condition and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and housekeeping quickly responded to our request for an extra blanket and additional coffee for the kitchen. If we retun to Vegas we will stay here again.

Stayed in a 3 bdrm apartment. Clean rooms and well equipped. Loved that there was no casino onsite, no smoking and no resort fees were an added bonus. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel is very close to the strip with just a short 5 minute walk or even less to get to the side entrance to Planet Hollywood.

"Great Stay at the Marriott Grand Chateau"

10.0

The hotel was absolutely amazing. Loved the fitness center, food market and valet parking. The room was very clean and spacious with a great kitchen. We were on the top floor with a beautiful view of the strip. Our family will certainly be staying here again.
