A truly unique and beautiful property full of character and charm. Very peaceful location with lovely gardens and dark skies. Very short drive to Raglan and not far from Monmouth so was a good base for our holiday travels in the area.

Was a little tricky to find but we managed it in the end.

The location and surrounding area is truly idyllic, and very peaceful

I accept that the property is medieval and what goes with that but felt cleaning and some facilities could have been better, but I have communicated with the owner.

Very quaint property, rural location, comfy beds, well equipped.

Cobwebs were horrendous, they were everywhere and not just from a few days build up. The house needed a lot of snags fixing; doors that don’t shut, rain came through the windows & front door, paintwork that had chipped & marked, broken tiles, lightbulbs needing replacing. The stairs are very steep and narrow, not suitable for older people

Love the place, quiet and peaceful. It was great for me to stay to one of the historical house in the UK.

I liked everything when I entered, I immediately said, I fell into the movie "Lord of the Rings" super!!!

Loved everything!!!

Lovely quiet location but within short driving distance to mountains and attraction. We loved the character of the cottage that had very comfortable furnishings with some added quirkiness. Beds were super comfortable and cottage always warm and cosy.

2 extra chairs might be useful to have to put round the table when needed as we were a family of 6 button a problem in warm weather as big bench outside on patio.
