The Mynach Annex

pairing space was great and the property itself was lovely. we had great weather so we sat out in the secluded garden. also dog friendly so he had a lovely time also.

The location was great, and the annexe just did the job for a couple of nights but wouldn't stay any longer than due to the bed being small and the sofas were very hard to sit on for any length of time. I will add that there is everything you need and the host Alex replied to any messages I sent him to ask some questions which was great. The weather helped on the Saturday we stayed as it was gorgeous but if it was bad weather you'd struggle to stay in for long periods of time.

Lovely place! Large modern apartment with all the amenities needed for self catering, including a washer/dryer, dishwasher, fridge freezer and induction hob and oven. I loved the touches like the freshly ground coffee, and including condiments and ice cubes. The shower was fantastic, and the garden was large enough for the dog to have a good wander round. Set in an ideal location you can walk 10mins straight into town as you're on the main road or can cross over and its a 10min walk straight onto the beach. The property owner is lovely, you can message them and they'll be in touch. Definitely ask her about places to visit, there are some very beautiful areas around well worth a visit.

I found the mattress a little soft but I like extra firm- there are 2 sofa beds and they are very firm and comfortable.

Beautiful place to stay. Walking distance to town and beach. Has everything you need, a real home from home stay.

Everything was great. A little cold due to it snowing, but there were extra heaters to use and blankets. So nothing to dislike at all

It was very clean

It was freezing cold, everything was painted white which made it very clinical looking, it had single glazed windows with no curtains, there were no carpets, just a couple of cheap & nasty looking matts on the lounge floor, the doors had been taken off so there was no way of keeping what little heat the useless heaters gave out in. I was unable to take a shower as it was so cold in the bathroom. The sofas (sofa beds) were very uncomfortable and very low, The TV in the lounge only had apps to watch, couldn't go to bed to watch TV and keep warm as there was no TV in the bedroom. The bed was very low, even that had a metal foot board so your feet were freezing, very little room either side of the bed making it difficult to get in and out. I ended up cutting my stay short and left at 5.30am after just one night as I couldn't stand the cold anymore. There were also lots of handwritten notes stuck to things telling you what you could & couldn't do or touch. I personally would say the whole place had been done for practically with no concerns about comfort for the people that stay there.I contacted the owner on my return and was given excuses, he said he was in the states and that I should of asked for extra heaters, I'm sorry but when I go away and pay good money for your accommodation you at least expect the basics! I was refused a refund for the night I was not able to stay or any compensation. I have been visiting Barmouth several times a year for over 20 years and have never had to complain about the accommodation before and will definitely not be returning to this place.
