The Garden House

Location: Just opposite a beautiful 12th century church and a minute’s walk to the local pub in a peaceful village. It’s also a couple of miles away from Penzance, Mount St Michael, and Long Rock. Ideally located for visits to Cornwall’s main attractions and hidden gems. The house: A cosy place that is modernly decorated with good quality appliances. Spotlessly clean, and the bed is very comfortable. A brilliant place to retreat back to after a long day of exploring is always a plus. Sustainability (a topic close to my heart): seems to be the core value here. From the moment you get in the house , you will notice different recycling bins. Everything is ethically and locally sourced from the cleaning products to the bathroom ones, kitchen dishes and the excellent balanced breakfast we had every morning, all products are locally sourced. It shows that Sarah is taking a purposeful action around her values and paying higher prices for her products. Host: Sarah was professional, friendly, and accommodating to our needs. Excellent location. Very clean. Tastefully furnished with very comfortable bed and good powerful shower. Sarah was most helpful and accommodating, providing a gluten free breakfast.

so lovely and cosy. loved how modern and clean the property was. loooved the fresh breakfast!

only note we would suggest would be to add blinds on the door window. felt a little exposed at night/ morning when walking around kitchen area.

Wow breakfast was outstanding consisting of orange juice, a small white loaf, butter, cereals, milk,yoghurt, croissants, panna chocolate, home made scones and a full fruit bowl. The accommodation was outstanding with Bosch appliances, Neff coffee machine and the biggest bed I have ever seen. With sparkling white bedding. A little courtyard for our soul use and a car parking space. I will certainly recommend this to my friends and would like to stay there again in the future. Sarah the owner is very friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
