AUWe had a great time! This is not a cookie-cutter motel experience. It's a cute cottage and a great place to unwind. Host was excellent, very friendly (nice to see our name on a welcome sign to make us feel welcome). One of the highlights of the trip
NZNZThis place was incredible!! the view from the living area, looking back up to the hills was great. The log burner was set up and ready for our arrival, which we used, as the night was quite cool. The house was sunny and warm, and the bedrooms were very comfortable and spacious, with one room having 2 single beds, and the other a queen size bed. There was a washing machine, which was brilliant, as this was our halfway stage on the cycle trip, and was a great time to be able to do some laundry. The clothes dried very quickly on the clothes rack in front of the fire overnight. The Wedderburn Tavern was about 400m away, along the main road. My son and i walked there for dinner, and took the pub's courtesy coach back home later that evening, so distance wasn't an issue. The whole place had a cozy, lux, feel to it.
It would have been nice to have had fresh ilk in the fridge, instead of milk powder in the shelf. However, if this is the only thing i can fault, then that's pretty good. (I ended up getting a small amount of milk from the tavern after dinner, to bring home for coffee that night, and the following morning).
USWe loved staying in this peaceful, pretty cottage. The artwork by the owner was such a beautiful touch. It was very relaxing and we both agreed it was our dream cottage.

The rapid number was difficult to find. We got lost. But found it in the end. Perhaps a sign would make it easier.

NZIt is a clean and stylish cottage, beds are very comfortable, the quality of products provided for kitchen and cleaning are eco friendly and or organic. Walk around the property and privacy respected. Great place to be
The barbecue decided not to work but we found an alternative
