Best view in all of akureyri we saw loads of northern lights and had such a kozy time

The house is very comfortable and the view above the city is amazing. We saw the northern light’s several times and with the city lights in the background it was magical.

Very comfortable, very nice views (great place to catch the northern lights if you are lucky), 10 minutes away from Akureyri. It was very warm inside and cozy., all prepared for December joy. We had a great stay there. You need a 4x4 to get there, especially in the winter and even then you might not get all the way up to the cabin due to ice on the steep hill (there are places where you can safely leave your car though)

Lovely cabin with a nice view. Clean and has lots of stuff inside. Many candles and warm lights. Lots of card and desk games. The owner was kindly provided us with everything we were needed. A bit tricky to get there in snow time. You might need a proper 4x4. There's a fireplace, but it's not allowed to use it. It would be great to have it in winter evenings.

Photos of cottage inside are outdated. Water in the shower sink doesn't go. You might not reach the owner if urgently needed.

Superb views and quite cosy

Our visit was a snowy November which made the approach to the cabin and getting into it a little difficult - our contact responded quickly and sorted our issue

Cosy cabin with great views. Very clean and well looked after with everything you need.

Would have loved to be able to light the fire

The views were amazing.

Some of the interior lights down the didnt work and the road definitely needs a proper 4x4 in snow.

Bathroom shower is extremely small.
