Nicely decorated room and the facilities were fine. For the price of the room it’s what you’d expect. The staff were friendly and did their best to accommodate where possible.

Our bedroom window was directly above where the locals drank outside of the pub opposite. They didn’t go home till 2am and whenever someone smoked, the cigarette smoke would waft into the bedroom. You couldn’t shut the window as it was too hot so we didn’t get much sleep.

My room was spotlessly clean, spacious, attractively presented and quiet. Staff were kind and friendly and the breakfast was tasty.Although there’s no car park onsite, staff helpfully recommended a convenient public car park nearby which was very reasonably priced. Excellent value for money.

I had a small issue with my shower, however staff were helpful with the problem.

Good location /friendly staff - felt sorry for them as chef fired the night of our stay so other staff really tried hard to accommodate us in difficult circumstances

lamp not fixed so just kept falling off every time you sat on the bed or moved around the room window did not open so room very hot

No breakfast available at 7.30

Waiting staff not very attentive, long wait for meals to be delivered

Not hot water this morning

The town was hit by a single-phase power cut that affected the kitchen and one of our rooms. The staff arranged a free brakfast at a neighbouring cafe.
