The spec of the room/bathroom was high end and comfortable.

There needs to be sound proofing! We heard both neighbours hanging up clothes on the provided pole in their rooms, showering and going to the loo!, which spoiled the experience. Also, I understand why the hallway was planked flooring, but again it was very noisy and not all guests were considerate about letting their doors slam shut behind them when coming and going including just to the kitchen and lounge. Shame for such an otherwise well considered place.

Very good location. Room was a good size, shower was excellent.

Keenly priced. Good location. Easy car parking facilities. Modern, spacious room with enough facilities for an 1 or 2 night stay in Oban. Appreciated being given permission to park my car on premises before official check-in time (although I did not in fact do this on the day of check-in due to a change of plans).

Entire facility run on a self-service basis - it was therefore a bit of a soulless experience staying there.

Location was excellent and the facilities were clean and in good condition.

Our room was quite small and had very limited space. The bed had a very thin cover and blankets or a thicker cover would have been appropriate in the cold spring we had. Some of our neighbours were quite noisy slamming doors etc.

The property is very modern and has plenty of on-site parking (once you find it). Access is via a coded key safe - all very straightforward. Smart modern decor and the set up basically consists of half a dozen or so rooms with a shared corridor and communal sitting area, kitchen and laundry facilities. Location is up the hill from the harbour but only a 10 minute walk; and equally a 10 minute walk to McCaig's Tower. For breakfast, I would thoroughly recommend the Cuan Mor on George Street opposite the North Pier. The bed was comfy and I slept very well - no disturbances.

Room size: The room is quite 'bijou'. I stayed for 3 nights as a solo traveller, which was fine, but if you were a couple staying for a week, I would imagine you would fine it a bit cramped. Finding the parking: Despite the fine attempts by the hosts, I ended up parking temporarily at the Leisure Centre and walking up to check how to access the parking. Admittedly this was driven partly by Oban's manic traffic snarl up at the time and I didn't want to risk missing the entrance again and finding myself back in the traffic gridlock in town. It is great on-site parking though.
