The air conditioner would be good to have. Dryer for washed clothes would be useful, humidity is very high, and washed clothes stay wet. The kitchen needs renovation.

The location is just gorgeous, we stayed outside everyday to admire the view. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, better than expected. You have everything you need.

I would pay attention to a couple of details, like the lack of corkscrew, very old limited pans, no napkins nor hand towels, no salt nor pepper nor oil. But these are small things and overall did not affect our stay at all.

Kitchen facilities in need of TLC

Beautiful property with view of sea. Living room and kitchen are huge. Parking in front of villa. Easy communication with owners through email.

The bedroom has no blackout curtain. So it becomes bright very early in morning. The check out time of 9am is too early. No shampoo/shower gel in bathroom.

The location of the house is amazing, close to cliffs and the waterfalls. Amazing for nature/outdoors fans as lots to see nearby. Really close to the sea and a black beach, near to the village and a couple of nice restaurants/coffee etc. You could walk into the village or a short drive if preferred. The property is really spacious, with plenty of room to relax together if you're in a group. Nice spacious kitchen with dining table. Wifi was good.

The house had a very strong mold/damp smell throughout the ground floor including the bedroom. I understand it must be hard to avoid this in the local climate, but it would be good to provide a way to air out the space (e.g fly nets for the french doors/windows to let air in). Both showers didn't stay upright in their fixtures so you have to hold it the whole time or get water everywhere.

This apartment has a lot of potential; the location is unbeatable, and it is well equipped. The management was very good to communicate with us before and after our stay. As for during our stay, they were hard to reach, but were gracious in resolving an issue we had with the power once we were able to reach them. So overall, it was a pleasant stay.

This review score could be higher as the apartment is actually very nice, but it also could be lower as communication during our stay was very difficult and led to some stress and frustration. However, in the end, everything got resolved peacefully, so they deserve a fair review. Some equipment could be updated (beds are not the most comfortable, toaster lever wouldn't stay down, could use more cooking ustensils...) but nothing major, most of what you could need is there. A few little adjustments and this place would be perfect! :)
