The location and the design of the property.

Wasn’t clean, loads of bugs. Could hear lots of noise from the road outside so made it hard to sleep. Air conditioning was not up to standards leaving us warm and uncomfortable for our stay.

The location.

We arrived to the location excited for the 3 nights we had booked. How quickly that changed! To begin, this location provides zero check-in instructions. We walked around aimlessly looking for it and were lucky to have found it. Once there, we had to wait outside for about 30 minutes for the owner to approve our passports, despite the property being pre-paid. We had sent the requested photos to them 4 days earlier but had to send them again. Once the passports were approved, we were given instructions on how to get inside. Walking inside revealed a dirty courtyard with beer cans and cigarette butts scattered everywhere from our downstairs neighbours. The pool was dirty and you could barely see through the water. The only bin on the property (!!!) was downstairs, full and overflowing with rubbish. We then walked upstairs into our apartment only for more disappointment to follow. Our apartment was dingy, sweaty and smelt of mould. There were numerous trails of small ants throughout as well as black mould growing all through the bathroom. Between the 4 of us, we tried to look for the positives and choose our rooms. We chose the master (?) - a room WITHOUT a door and with the ONLY BATHROOM in the apartment inside of it. The other 2 in our group chose the other room, with a thatched roof that functions as an open doorway for bugs to enter the apartment. The half hearted effort to leave a mosquito cover hanging over this bed is truly laughable. We cannot stress enough how strange the layout is - there is absolutely nothing comfortable about staying in this house. There is zero privacy in the main bedroom in this apartment, and we had to put up with the others in our group coming into our room to use the bathroom all through the night. Thank god they didn’t have to open a noisy door to get through! On top of all this, you are only provided with paper thin bedsheets.

Nothing

Our worst experience by far at this price (nearly 400 euros per night). - apartment eaten away by humidity (some photos attached which unfortunately do not allow to translate the smell and the sensation) - extremely dirty apartment (bathrooms and kitchen not/poorly cleaned, small pool in which you would not bathe your dog). The cleaning was completely redone... onyly before our 3rd and last night after multiple complaints. - air conditioning broken, temperature of 30° celcius in the house. The air conditioning was repaired... onlyt before our 3rd and last night after multiple complaints - hot water broken in one of the 2 bathrooms (not repaired), which is a problem when you are 6 people - no washing machine / dryer in working order contrary to what was indicated in the ad (has since been removed from the ad) - neighbors' dogs barking non-stop in the morning from dawn - totally under-equipped kitchen: almost nothing to cook with and obviously the little that there is is dirty and must be washed before use - some rooms without windows and the general impression of being in a bunker with no windows opening onto the city or a landscape To top it all off, categorically refuse any compensation by the owner. Don't make the same mistake as us: read all the comments carefully, especially those from international customers.

Placering

Hard to communicate with the landlord- we waited outside the building for almost 1 hour before we got in because the insisted getting out passport before they would give us check in instructions. Fair enough if it’s their procedure- but we could at least had got in the apartment and send it. It was already prepaid. The place was dirty - ants all over the place. Dead cockroaches under the bed. Mouldy smell. We met the guest living in the apartment (same facility) downstairs- they had the same experience and was really surprised over the standard due to the reviews. The pool was dirty and not possible to use they said. If it was as cheaper - probably fine. But it really felt like a scam. We let the landlords know that we have left the place 10 minutes after check-in, and we didn’t ask for a refund. We just wanted to get away as soon as possible.

Location.

Could have been cleaner and better maintained. Lacked enough equipment, utensils and pans in the kitchen. The bathroom is part of the master bedroom which is very inconvenient. The master bedroom didn't have a door, and you have to go through the master bedroom to go to the WC.
