The newer Coach House block is very close to a noisy road so traffic noise in warm weather with bedroom windows open. No cooked breakfast but an excellent range of cereals, toast, soft fruits & yoghurt inc in the price. Good parking & nice garden. Friendly staff & nice & clean.

In the summer I would ensure our booking/room was located in Mere Brook House not the newer Coach House block to avoid the traffic noise.

The location of Mere Brook House is excellent, close enough to the motorway network yet far enough away to make it feel like you're staying in the middle of nowhere. The expansive grounds, complete with ponies and allotment, reinforce that feeling off being in a relaxing countryside setting.

Absolutely nothing to suggest as a negative.

Mere Broook House is a lovely property, set in it's own grounds, which is easy to find. The location is good, giving a feeling of being out in the countryside. The cold buffet breakfast was good - plenty of choice - and a small, comfortable dining area was very pleasant. Overall, the entire property was 'just lovely'

There was nothing to dislike about the property. It met or exceeded all our expectations.

Very pleasant place to stay at and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast on offer included a wide circle of cereals, bread, fruit smd pastries. My bed was comfortable.

Bedside chair wasn't comfortable to sit on.

Excellent breakfast. Lots of choice.

Having the bedroom names on the doors would have been useful especially when coming back late in the evening!
