Riverwood Resort on the Gunnison

We loved this location. Everyone there was very nice, helpful, and responsive. The whole place was very well maintained, super clean, and clearly taken care of with pride and love. The beds were both very soft and comfortable with plenty of pillow choices and sheets that made you want to stay there all day. It was so nice having an outdoor sitting area right by the river to enjoy my coffee too. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in the area.

At first it didn’t look like much but we were on a road trip and stayed in 12 different hotels, cabins and motels. This was our favorite. From Va NC SC Ga Al Fla Miss Texas Arkansas New Mexico New Orleans Las Vegas Utah Colorado Kansas it was the best quiet serene loved the river and rocking chairs. Would love to come back for a week!

This was a lovely property by the river. We loved the gazebo and the walking trails along the river. The room had a nice outdoor space and was close enough to town to walk to breakfast. Room was adequate and clean.

Great for a quick stop

Nice location on the river. kids wanted to play in the river but it was too fast moving (in June). Our dog loved the patio and we loved the quick easy access to the grounds! Overall it was a great stay especially with a dog.

There were a few mosquitoes but only right at sunset.
