FLH Bacalhoeiros River View Flat

The location was perfect, the views are stunning. The apartment is beautiful and very stylish. I love the rug!

We were 4 people and there were just two pillows set up for us. The next day we got new pillows, but sleeping without isn't fun. The shower drain was clogged when we arrived and a nice maintenance guy came to fix it, but he had to wait for us to be home because his key wouldn't fit (they must have changed the lock since last time he was there). Also, the bed was missing screws, so it fell apart, every night a little more. I would have appreciated at least some coffee to start out and some laundry detergent, also a refillable soap dispenser, these little packages of soap are so wasteful.

Perfectly located to explore Lissabon on food. Enough space and very stable Wifi. Also nicely decorated. We had some things to be fixed, that happened immediately next day and the person who did the repair was really nice, even if he didn't speak a word English, it was no problem with Google translator.

We left a voice mail with the check in phone numb er, but when we called again it was said no one checked the voice mail. The lady on the phone was a bit unfriendly. For such a price I'd expect a bathroom without would, no water leak at the ceiling in the bedroom and a better cleaned Appartement overall.

Great location and views of the tagus river and the cathedral which was a short walk away. There are numerous decent restaurants in the immediate area too.

Bathroom was a little small to be fair and there was only a couple of sachets of shower gel provided. I think the sofa bed thingy provided was a bit tired and uncomfortable when actually there is space for a decent three or four seater settee.

The only real problem was the “sleep sofa” does not truly turn into a bed, and really shouldn’t be advertised as an additional sleeping area. I’m a small woman, 160cm, and it was too short, plus not at all comfortable. It could work for a child, but not an adult. It would be good to indicate that in the description. Also the bathroom is past its prime and needs a facelift. Totally functional though. Otherwise, it’s a wonderful apartment, great location, and the views are marvelous.

Listing says that storage is available - what it doesn’t tell you is that it is a 20+ minute walk away AND there is a fee (charged by the hour, too!). Apartment not very clean. Bed HORRIBLY uncomfortable and not enough pillows. Toilet paper provided “for the first night” only. The biggest problem is access: the outer door to the building has a significant problem with the lock regularly refusing to open. When I called the company, they did nothing about it. We had a key which fit into the lock and would’ve been happy to use… but it didn’t work. You have to call them to gain access/report any issues, so useless if you do not have access to a phone which can make calls. I am also horrified to read several reviews via Google which state that guests have had money stolen from FLH properties and feel very lucky this hasn’t happened to us. Avoid!

Amazing view of the river and the cruise liners coming and going each day, of the Cathedral, and the vibe in the surrounding streets. Nice furniture, spacious living area and we could open the big windows to get the breeze blowing through, but when they were closed the double glazing kept it nice and quite to be able to sleep well in the comfy bed. Great that it had a lift, a washing machine and a dishwasher.

We could have done with more dishwasher tablets and dishwashing liquid. We were staying four nights and only got two tablets and a tiny bottle of dish liquid.

Great location in lively area with lots of restaurants. Nice view from the apartment at cathedral and River.

I just read the recent comment about money robbery from apartment and the same thing happened to my friend! We thought that it is impossible that someone could enter the place when we left for dinner. But after reading the comment it is clear also for us that 200 euro was stolen from the backpack and not just simple lost in other way! It is not just a coincidence that in June there were more victims of this robbery! I dont recommend the place as it is unacceptable that someone can enter the place anytime! It is horryfing that when your are sleeping there is a chance that someone could enter the place!!!!! P.s we were double checking everytime when we were leaving the place if doors are closed so it was not our fault that we were not cautions etc.
