Well located. Perfect for our 2 night get away.

Had a hot tub and was dog friendly.

Caravan it’s self was nice

Cleaning needs upgrading .. odd jobs need doing blinds broken , roller gate outside broken dog got out numerous times. Sofas a little sweaty and cushions need changing each guest change and sofa rubbed over or sprayed . All cutlery and plates needed to go in dishwasher as dirty and dishwasher didn’t clean great. Other wise caravan nice

Decent location, right next to the park and Time Out Tavern (however this is closed until further notice)

Unfortunately we have had to end our stay early due to a number of issues. The main issue is that the lodge states it is pet friendly yet it isn’t secure for dogs at all (pictures attached) and our dog actually managed to escape on our first day. This was very traumatic for both us and our children, one of whom is autistic. Our dog was fortunate not to be knocked over as he was able to get onto the road with ease due to a broken safety gate. I informed the owner of the broken safety gate and received no response. I haven’t had any response from any message to them. In addition, the state of the property was unacceptable. There is lots of weeds and overgrowth around the property and my daughter was stung by nettles there. The area around the hot tub was untidy and unsafe and there was a clear gap in the fence, again making it unsafe for dogs. I have pictures of the issues and poor conditions. We also found many broken items in the lodge as well as unclean cookware. Overall we are greatly disappointed with our stay and feel that it was not what was stated on their booking page. This lodge is not pet friendly and we are lucky that our dog wasn’t hit by a car or worse.

Beautiful location, very peaceful, Lodge was beautiful, clean and comfortable, lovely walks and not far to local pubs. The village is lovely too

Only bad thing I have to say is the tv in sitting room didn't work and when it did go on it was unwatchable due to signal and picture, wasn't bad as it was just me and my friend and we prefer reading, if it had been a break with my children it would have been more problematic for evening relaxing.

Looked good on first impression.

Initially looked amazing and was very impressed.closer inspection revealed that it needed a good deep clean throughout the property. A hairbrush found from previous guest under sofa, along with a sherbet dib dab down the side of a chair. Gas cooker, hob worked, grill and oven didn’t- which made the pizzas I took for the sleepover impossible to cook! Dishwasher doesn’t work, lock key box broken and difficult to access the keys!

The location was lovely if we had the weather to explore it. Not a very busy site as it's situated in the resident area. Like the wooden decking rather then pvc

The caravan itself needs a few things doing to it. For example the gates on the decking are both broken aswell as one of the fence panels. No loo roll holders they have both been broken and not replaced and the double bed is falling apart I had to tighten all the legs up just to feel some what safe to sleep on. All the doors squeak and with little ones they kept getting woken up by this. The caravan was clean on first sighting as it was dark when woken in the morning found cigarette buts all over the driveway. A bag of dog poo left at the end of the path and even a random hamster ball. Inside was just as bad there was lots of little bits over the carpet empty plastic bottles under the sofa and even someone insulin needles left in the fridge.
