Lemon Tree Lodge

Lodge was lovely, clean and had a welcome hamper which was a lovely touch. The beds were so comfy! Hot tub was great, the site was spot on,the bar was brill for food and entertainment. Well worth a visit ,would highly recommend it and will stay again. Great communication from the owner. Thanks for a perfect stay.

The location was good fairly easy to get everywhere. The hot tub was a bonus.

The hot tub cover was difficult to get on and off. The hoover and dishwasher fid not work. The gate to the decking was broken couldn’t be used.

Location is ideal as a jumping off spot to explore the rest of Northumberland, and is very conveniently situated beside the A1. There was no traffic noise, however during our stay - it is a peaceful and tranquil location.

The tv in the main living area didn’t work. We couldn’t get any internet connection to play Netflix, Prime etc, and only BBC1 was accessible, and even then after a few minutes it became very pixelated. This did not spoil our stay in any way though, as it forced us to talk to each other and play games! 😁

The location to where we had to go for an event we were attending was good.

How long is a piece of string, so so disappointed with the accommodation, and the standard of place for the amount we paid. Rooms smelt of mould, beds were tiny, sent the owner a big list of jobs that need fixing, that should have been done before we arrived. And to top it off was put in another property ( not the property we had actually booked ) for 8 of the nights and then had to move to another property for the last 2 nights of our 10 night stay.

I liked that the caravan was close to the bar and the park. I only met one member of staff in my short stay, but she was nice and polite working the bar. The bedrooms are a decent size, the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are OK.

I didn't like that the caravan was not kept in the best condition for the price you pay, i would expect basic things like the toilet roll holder to not completely fall off the wall. The dishes were all dirty, and one of the pans had burnt food stuck to the inside of them, resulting in me driving to morrisons to buy bowls, plates, a pan, and other kitchen supplies. There was a strip of wallpaper missing in the twin room. The boost button didn't work, so I wasn't able to dry towels. The mat outside the door is torn in half and has no grip on it, so I nearly slipped on it. Some of the cupboards in the kitchen are all smashed. The lock box is hard to open due to part of the clip being broken.
