A huge fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and a fridge (with freezer) large enough to keep Edina and Patsy in Bolly for weeks! A very comfortable sitting room with an enormous television which, sadly, we couldn't use as I couldn't get to grips with it. We just wanted to watch good old BBC but couldn't find it. The two bedrooms had extremely comfortable beds and well equipped bathrooms. The second bedroom/bathroom is in the brick lined vaulted ceiling basement, down a set of rather steep, narrow stairs which wouldn't suit anyone not able bodied. Excellent WiFi throughout. The decoration of the flat has been done with skill and style. It was just a shame we were there for only one night.

We would have liked to try the sauna but couldn't see how to work it so gave up. A set of instructions would have been helpful. Maybe next time.

Immaculate & perfect for what we needed

Parking space, location pretty good. Spacious.

Freezing cold (13 degrees) as heating was completely off in one bedroom and bathroom, wasn't great in rest of house other than basement bedroom which was extremley hot and no way to turn down as thermostat didn't appear to work. Obviously some sort of damp problem in appartment as smelt damp and loads black mould on the tiles on one of the walls and windows in the bathroom and damp patches in the lounge - which owner denied! The floors abviously had not been mopped and hoovered in a while and the bathrooms and kitchen weren't very clean either, (limestone stains everywhere, grim and hair in plug hole) can't imagine they had been cleaned in some weeks, neither had the fridge freezer, spilt and old food all over inside of fridge/freezer you wouldn't have wanted to prepare food in the kitchen unless you cleaned it all first. There was no welcome pack/instructions on anything, which I enquired about but no response . I needed a last minute place to stay as I had to extend my trip a day and the hotel I was in was fully booked. I picked this property as it said it had a sauna, yet it did not have a sauna, some sort of steam room or outside shower maybe but no instructions how to operate it. Given how filthy the bathrooms and kitchens were I probably wouldn't have risked it. The manager was apologetic and said the heathing would come on just turn up the thermostat so went out to pub to warm up and eat hoping it would have warmed up on my return but by then it was even colder and obvious the heating was off in a couple of the rooms and rest wasn't up to heating the appartment. Previously the manager had offered another flat which in hindsight I should have took but as I had already unpacked and it was evening, and they said the heating would defintely kicked in it didn't.

Lovely apartment with plenty of space, great location and very comfortable.100% recommend

Nothing to not like.

Very good location for our needs, and big bonus with the Black Horse across the road with a great selection of GF meals!! There were only two of us but there was more than enough space and facilities for the four it caters for with everything you can possibly want-including an enormous tv!!

Wish we’d had more time to spend there!
