Lovely apartment

The apartment was really cozy and we had a lovely time in Margate. Kitchen facilities were especially great, with everything we needed, and we enjoyed the space a lot -- especially since it was February and we aren't drinkers, so for the most part we spent our evenings in. Location is very good, just a couple minutes' walk from the centre of town, and about 30 seconds from the water, which was all very nice and handy. Overall, nice place, good for a long weekend on the seaside.

There was only overhead lighting in the living room, which meant spending time there in the evenings wasn't quite as relaxing as it might have been. I would have loved a nice lamp. The living room could have used a throw or two as well, as it was quite chilly that weekend, and we ended up using the extra duvet to stay warm on the sofa. I also would have appreciated an extra shelf (or some kind of space) in the bathroom to store my toiletries bag (it ended up living on the floor). Nothing serious, but a couple of cosmetic things that would have made a nice difference :)

Venue, location, cleanliness and staff helpfullness

Venue was not prepared for third person as booked, but it was sorted in a timely matter. Security deposit ridiculous expensive, more than the stay and £100(!!!) cleaning fee
